Advice from Steve Ono sets new web site Hit Record

May 14, 2011
L to R, Big Dog, Lorraine Hora, Joe Tanaka & Steve Ono

Thanks to Mr. Steve Ono and his sound advice concerning the VEBA Long Term Care our web site blog set a new single day record for the number of visitors.

Mr. Ono has been a valuable asset to HSTA-R Hawai’i Island District and his political connections and insight to the Legislative process has helped our organization over the years.

I am saddened that he has stepped down as an HSTA-R Director as his knowledge and recommendations has been greatly appreciated.

    Hi Steve,
Just read on Wayne’s website about the record set by the piece about your advice. I’m sure your name recognition as well as the subject matter attracted many retirees. Noticed that you are no longer a director, but I’m glad you are still active in HSTA-R. Want to say MAHALO NUI NUI for all the years you have represented us Big Islanders! I’m very grateful for you sacrificing your time, and I’m sure sometimes your sanity, on our behalf. Hope you have a little more time now to relax a bit. Please continue to share your knowledge and expertise, as we all struggle through these difficult economic times.
