Why is HSTA endorsing Marlene Hapai when she is a backer of the Republican Party agenda.

Marlene and Archie (husband) were the GOP representatives for Hawai’i at the Republican National Convention in 2008. They were McCain / Palin fundraisers in 2008.

Hapai supports the Lingle administration, Duke Iiona, and Sarah Palin.

Why does the HSTA support someone who supports those who work against the HSTA?

    Thanks, Dave
